Anthon Jackson is a traveling photographer and writer.

Anthon has been on the road nearly full-time since 2008, when he received a degree in Middle East Studies/Arabic and purchased his first DSLR. His photo work has since been featured by a number of international publications, among them Outside, GEOSpecial and Gulf Life, while he has written for the likes of Rough Guides, A-Z World Travels, and USA Today.

Ongoing projects include documentaries on the Afar of Eastern Ethiopia and the Deobandi-Barelvi rivalry of India and Pakistan. Available for contract assignments and commissions worldwide.
